One of the biggest obsticles to increasing sales is to overcome the prospects natural tendency to put off making a decision.

Creating “urgency” is something that pushes the right buttons, sometimes without you even knowing it. You can have the best product in the world but can’t get people to buy.

Like many people, I am on a lot of email lists. Mainly because I am interested in their product or service or just because I like to see what other businesses are doing with their email campaigns and I see a lot of different strategies used to try to invoke the sense of urgency in people.

I have seen some interesting coverage on the changes to the Google PageRank lately that has been having quite a large impact on a number of previously highly ranked sites.

A lot of people seem to use the PageRank as a measure of credibility and success for theirs and other sites and these changes are costing people traffic and money and in one case, John Chow has dropped completely off the radar.

I am not going to go into it too much, but I want to refer you to a a blog post from Yaro Starak who posted some detailed thoughts on his blog Entrepreneurs Journey and an article in Sydney Morning Herald that talks about Melbourne Blogger Darren Rowse who has also seen a significant drop in his Page Rank.

Well, I am disappointed!  Unfortunately only today have I been able to login to the Lead Supreme site for the first time in the morning!  So, I have missed 7 days of traffic generation opportunities and more so, the chance to share what seemed like a great product with my readers. 

However, what I can do is compliment the Lead Supreme help desk, at least they were able to acknowledge that there have been some problems with their system and have refunded my $20 payment as well as having left the site open to me for the remaining days of the promotion. 

As I have said in a few previous articles, the customer support you receive will go a long way to determining if you will deal with a person (or company) for a second time if you have had a bad experience.  And I can honestly say that I will happily stay on the mailing lists for Dr Mike Woo -Ming and Howie Schwartz purely because of their handling of this problem.  I will even be keen to see what they have to offer next and if they can improve on the experience that I have had this time.

I will try to get through their audio and video training over the next couple of days and share some of this information with you.  While I don’t expect to make many referrals and have stopped promoting the site, I will take them up on their offer and learn as much as I can from them.  Their claim was that they would teach me about lead generation, not about how to put a perfect site up.  The two go a bit hand in hand but technical problems do happen and that in no way reflects on their knowledge of lead generation.

I will post some notes when I have gone through it all, it will probably be consolidated now since I have had to move on to some other projects but from what I have heard so far they have some great tips and I will be happy to share these with you.

As you know from my previous blog posts, I am participating in the Lead Supreme 10 Day Trial but you would also have to be asking yourself…why hasn’t he told us anything lately?

Well, as excited as I was to generate some new traffic and leads, each morning I woke up to log in to the site and start learning, I would receive a message telling me that I wasn’t authorised to access this information.  So, each day I would send an email to support and each day after about 8 hours they would tell me they have manually activated my account.  Unfortunately, by that time, I just didn’t have the extra energy or hours to put into learning what they had to offer.
